It gives quality education having a very large library and 62 PHD faculty. UCE has become deemed but still it has not achive status of an institute of national importance. It is more than 50 years the institution has produced good students . the government in its 11th five year plan announced 16 central universities are to be set up of which one will be in Morissa and they have given the task to choose the appropriate college to the state government . in my notice oit burla is the deserving one to be converted to central university . so the concerned department should look into this matter as soon as possible and fulfil our demand to convert oit burla to a central university so that it will be an institute of national importance (INI).THANKYOU OIT.burla is a exellent institution .
