Faculty Size Comparison
- IIT Delhi has a sanctioned faculty of 583, with 130 vacancies
- IIT Bombay has a faculty strength of 420, with 100 vacancies
- IIT Kharagpur has a faculty size of 460
- IISc Bangalore has a faculty size of 400
- NISER (New Indian Express, Kalinga Times) would have 250 faculty
- Arizona State University: 2525 faculty (of which 1808 are tenured or tenure track)
