Members of the Sangh parivar were involved in the communal violence in Kandhamal which claimed at least 38 lives besides causing damage to 4640 houses, Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said on Monday.
"It is learnt from investigation into the riot cases that the members of RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal were involved in the violence that took place last year," Patnaik told the Assembly while replying to a question by a CPI member.
Sangh Parivar activists were arrested in this connection. Of them 85 were of the RSS and 321 members of VHP were rounded up on charge of riot. The number of Bajrang Dal workers arrested on charge of violence was 118, he said. …
Thank God the people of Orissa got rid of BJP from power. I hope they are completely wiped out in the next election.

WHY DID NOT SOMEBODY BAN THIS SANGHA AND BAJARANG DAL OR ANY OTHER SUCH TYPE OF HARMFUL ELEMENTS TO OUR HARMONY.THEY ALL SHOULD BE BEATEN UP AND THROWN OUT INTO THE SEA.THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY PLACE IN A SECULAR AND PEACELOVING COUNTRY.THESE ALL BEING POLITICIZED.WHY DO NOT THOSE WENT AHEAD AND CONFRONT EACH OTHER WHO ONLY SCREAMED, SITTING IN A PLACE AND ABETTED INNOCENT PEOPLE TO KILL EACH OTHER.ONLY FEW PEOPLE RESPONCIBLE FOR THIS AND WE MASS PEOPLE THOUGH REALISED IT NOT WENT AHEAD TO STOP THEM.FOR WHAT; JUST WAITING FOR OTHER TO INITIATE.

Nothing new has been told here & problem is that despite many effort these elements can not be uprooted how hard you may wish or try.As long as politics is based on religion both open like Shivsena,BJP,Akali Dal,Muslim league,Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen or Party supported by Churches or covert like BJD,Congress,SP etc India has to face this.
One must not forget,what goes up comes down.The fall of BJP in Orissa or other part of India is the reflection of people loosing trust on their kind of politics.BJD must not forget that.Just look at WB,What happened to Trinamool & Lefts now & then
But what happened to the root cause??No body is keen to answer that.Despite routed from Orissa,how could they win the seats in Riot hit area??

I am one of the riot affected person, at least i am happy to some degree that world is getting to know who has done this, truth must prevail.. Anyway to be a vibrant, economically strongest society and for our future generation we should unite and live in harmony, irrespective of Religion, caste.. Now how they win in riot affected area, its simple, Divide the society based on religion and seeds of hatred.. Get votes …

hey here me a tribal too but here in orissa we tribals mostly are shri hari JAGANNATHA pujaka….one cannot deny it..then next coming when conversion to other religion took place some people accepted some dont this is what is the reality… and the truth is now also it is being practised in non searched area un aware areas of our beautiful and harmonious state.If u want to stop ethinic violence please kindly follow the proper rules and regulations of our state beacause i think my state people are very pure hearted nodoubt with some flaws they welcome each and every being to their hood with full respect and dignity…….
But unfortunately some took advantage and introduced concept of conversion.Though there are my own people demanding those who are converted not to kill them we should repect ..kk but ……….
what i think i need my peoplle back…… back to the blue sky where we all played together under the shadow of our mother and get back to lord Buddha/lord Jagannnath………..
