{"id":4883,"date":"2011-05-02T22:50:57","date_gmt":"2011-05-03T02:50:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.orissalinks.com\/orissagrowth\/?p=4883"},"modified":"2011-05-02T22:50:57","modified_gmt":"2011-05-03T02:50:57","slug":"slswca-approval-for-two-power-projects-in-nayagarh-and-boudh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.orissalinks.com\/orissagrowth\/archives\/4883","title":{"rendered":"SLSWCA approval for two power projects in Nayagarh and Boudh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following is an excerpt from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/india\/news\/single-window-nod-to-projects-worth-rs-1045-cr\/434247\/\" target=\"_self\">a report in Business Standard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) on Monday  cleared two projects in the energy sector involving a total investment  of Rs 1,045 crore.<\/p>\n<p>The projects which got the nod of the Single Window authority are  those proposed by Hyderabad-based Primo Power &amp; Infra Ltd and Konark  Kanti Energy Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>Primo Power &amp; Infra Ltd has proposed to set up a 60 MW coal-fired  thermal power plant at Gania village in <span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 153);\">Nayagarh district<\/span> at a cost of  Rs 300 crore. The power plant will create direct employment for 80  people.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Konark Kanti Energy Ltd will set up 110 MW coal-based power plant at  Baghiapara in <span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 153);\">Boudh district<\/span> at an investment of Rs 435 crore. This  project will generate direct employment for 70 persons. Besides, the  company has also proposed to set up a petroleum based <span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 153);\">downstream  industry at Paradip<\/span> at a cost of Rs 200 crore and a petroleum storage  tank at <span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 153);\">Dhamara<\/span> at Rs 110 crore&quot;, T Ramachandru, principal secretary  (industries), Orissa government told reporters after the meeting of  SLSWCA chaired by the state Chief Secretary B K Patnaik.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following is an excerpt from a report in Business Standard.
