{"id":5361,"date":"2011-10-25T10:13:53","date_gmt":"2011-10-25T14:13:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.orissalinks.com\/orissagrowth\/?p=5361"},"modified":"2011-10-25T10:13:53","modified_gmt":"2011-10-25T14:13:53","slug":"fourtwo-laning-of-birmitrapur-barkote-section-on-nh-23-in-odisha-under-national-highways-development-project-nhdp-phase-iv-a-approved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.orissalinks.com\/orissagrowth\/archives\/5361","title":{"rendered":"Four\/two laning of Birmitrapur-Barkote section on NH 23 in Odisha under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) phase IV-A approved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following is from <a href=\"http:\/\/zeenews.india.com\/news\/orissa\/govt-approves-rs-1-835-cr-road-projs-in-ap_738390.html\" target=\"_self\">a PTI report in zeenews<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span name=\"advenueINTEXT\" id=\"advenueINTEXT\">The Cabinet Committee of Infrastructure (CCI) on tuesday approved projects &#8230; four\/two laning of Birmitrapur-Barkote section on NH 23 in Orissa under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) phase IV-A, an official release said.  <\/p>\n<p>&quot;&#8230; The total estimated cost of the project (Orissa) is Rs 1,098.90 crore,&quot; the release said. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span name=\"advenueINTEXT\" id=\"advenueINTEXT\">On land acquisition, resettlement, rehabilitation and pre-construction, &#8230; Rs 320.75 crore will be spent on&nbsp; Orissa projects.  <\/p>\n<p>Both the projects will be built on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis in BOT (Toll) mode of delivery.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8230; On the Orissa project, which is based in Sundargah and Deogarh districts, it said the concession period is 23 years including construction period of 30 months for 125.61 km scheme.  <\/p>\n<p>&quot;The project will reduce the time and cost of travel for traffic, particularly heavy traffic, plying between Birmitrapur-Barkote.
