New Engineering Colleges in Orissa that have received AICTE approval since the last counseling may admit students

There are at least two engineering colleges that have received AICTE approval to start classes this year. The next round of counseling may include some seats for those colleges. It may not allow admission to all its seats as that would be unfair to students who participated in the last counseling and did not have the choice. So to be fair only the NRI quota part (and possibly the AIEEE part) of the seats of these college may be filled during the next round of counseling. This is unconfirmed news, so watch for any formal announcement. The two colleges in the Bhubaneswar area that I know to have received AICTE approval recently are:
- Templecity Institute of Technology
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Indus College of Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
- Electronics and Electrical Engineering
(Disclaimer: I was invited today to join the advisory board of Templecity Institute of Technology. I am seriously considering it, as i know and like couple of the promoters. The new approved colleges should also take students from JEE-extended merit list counselling of which is starting from 13.09.07.

I think indus has great future. Becausr Reddy sir already delivered high qulity in NIST. And I wish he will able to do all the things which he could not able to do in NIST. And the new slogan will be “Forget about Mediocrity Long live Excellency “

I am pass out 12th on 2003-05 and ITI also 2005-07. I want to join in Dipploma or B-Tec, Which is better for me and which collage is better for me.
